Located alongside the majestic Whanganui River, our two bespoke studio apartments provide the perfect base to explore the city with its artisan quarter, eateries and all the services you would expect from a UNESCO City of Design, that celebrates its place alongside the unique and special Whanganui River.
The walkway opposite connects you to the Awa, the longest navigable river in Aotearoa - and the first to be a legal entity in the world. Celebrating our Māori heritage alongside post European settlement architecture of Victorian and Edwardian vibe, you can be sure of something engaging around every corner.
Our Apartments
Overlooking the Whanganui River, each of our self-contained bespoke apartments are designed to ensure you have a comfortable stay. Our secure complex also features secure parking for cars or bikes (after all this is a great city to explore by bike - and the final leg of Mountains to Sea - Nga Ara Tūhono Great Ride.)
An easy walk to town along the Te Araroa walkway beside the river or direct into the centre.
Both the Harakeke and Toetoe apartments feature queen-size beds, full ensuites with shower and outside courtyards to relax in.
Dine in with full kitchen facilities or enjoy some of the many eateries close by. Relax in comfort after a full day out, or explore the town knowing everything is safely secured.
